[Online][2014 5e][Saturday 5pm EST] Low-Magic Dark Fantasy Campaign (GoT / LotR Inspired) – DM Seeking 4–5 Players

Hey everyone! I’m a DM looking to put together a new long-term D&D 5e campaign and I’m currently recruiting 4–5 players.

Just in case you missed it: System: D&D 5e Format: Online Schedule: Saturdays at 5:00 PM EST Session Length: ~3–4 hours Also, this is a LGBTQ+ friendly game. New players welcome, but a love for roleplay and storytelling is a must.

The Setting: The realm known as The Cycle, a world the people believe is built via the death of mortals piling up to make everything that has ever been. When Orcs die they burn, when dwarves die they petrify, when Halflings die they melt away, and when Elves die they become their final breath. Humans? No different from animals, leaving behind corpses that stink. The human race was seen as lesser by the four great species, but when humans found they could sire children from the others, while they had to stick to the confines of their own species, humans turned that into a political weapon. In time humans came to rule using large armies, great amounts of gold, and most vital, marriage pacts. The great kings of humanity would eventually need to make a conscious effort in ensuring that their leaders were still majority human, as they crossed so many times. The "human" kinge would eventually come to be know as The All Blooded. Now in the modern age, a five year peace is threatened, a comet that's supposed to passes every fifty is nowhere to be seen... And those rare few connect to the gods are hearing their voices for the first time in five hundred.
