just beat the new boss and i realized something

i thought it’s a bit random how ben starr decided to go with that smoky eye look for the game awards show. but then i saw verso’s new haircut, received upon winning the battle, and just like that it suddenly made sense. 😂

anyway i personally feel the new boss is not as scary as simon (because i get to keep my shields, thank you cruler barrier and yeverum). had to do the battle a couple times (because of THAT), so it was so satisfying that i got a no damage win in the end (and some successful parries and a counterattack that i thought could never happen).

the timing of the update is just perfect because i’m at the end of my new game+, all that’s left is beating simon (went the one shot route before but this time i’m determined to do it the hard way and learn how to parry) and choosing verso’s ending (i chose maelle the first time).

can’t wait but on the other hand i also feel like i don’t want this to end, if that makes sense. 🥲
