Ep.4 still confused - SOKP

Currently watching Story of Kunning Palace. I just finished ep4 and I am still confused. Tbf it's may combined of many reasons like the bad subtitle and personally it's a bit bad timing for me to watch heavy /historical drama. So I want to know if it's really because of those reasons or I am not only one felt like that. And can you tell me how it will going to be next Eps without spoil important things, like is those flashbacks going to appear every Ep and took like more than quarter Ep?
