Worried about my 2 year old comet goldfish. His name is Peachy and he's the bigger orange one. He started swimming on his side near the surface of the water about an hour ago. My boyfriend immediately changed the water and deep cleaned the filter (I took these pictures while he was doing so) I can't tell if he is bloated. Our other fish TJ seems ok (smaller white one) they are currently in a 55 gallon tank and will be moved up to a 125 gallon tank when we have the money to do so (hopefully by the end of the month) the ammonia and PH levels are normal we already checked and we check those regularly. We also have a plant and an air stone. We submerge their food and we fast them for 1 day once a week. I am freaking out we love these fish. Does he possibly have swim bladder? What do we do? Someone please help it's urgent.
