There is a fine line between genius and madness, and I personally think that what I've done here in the name of documenting an obscure Use Item, spending hours based on uncertainty on whether it might even work, is complete madness

Information

After so many years, I finally got the answer to a question that I have been thinking for so long - what are the monsters that I can register from the Bellflower Momon/Monsterbloom

This item is dropped by Bellflower Root and Sr. Bellflower Root, and based on the description, it registers "one of the Bellflower Root monsters", however, due to the extreme RNG and uncertainty involved, I didn't bother testing this for years, now, I finally got the answer.

Why is it so difficult to test this item?

Firstly, even if I use 60 or 80 year old Herb Garden where Sr Bellflower Roots do not spawn, I need to hope that I can get one of these Momons to drop before I register Bellflower Root. Even then, I still need to hope that the Momon lands on Bellflower Root to prove that it can be registered from the Momon.

Seeing this text below stating the monster was registered how many times doesn't prove that the aforementioned monster can be registered from a Momon.

Secondly, I decided to test this in Challengers World, with extreme uncertainty given the fact that MSEA intentionally removed the Mysterious Momon from the event coin shop in CW, and intentionally disabled players from opening Bounty Hunter's Momon in CW despite it being purchasable from Monster Park NPC.

Despite that, I decided to hunt in CW, prepared to spend hours on end, just praying that a Bellflower Root Momon might drop, not knowing whether if the item even exists. My first session I gave up at 5k combo kills with nothing dropped, and then yesterday, I decided to try it again.

By some miracle, it really dropped and I excitedly picked it up.

Out of sheer curiousity, I double clicked and attempted to opened the Momon, and the reaction was something that I didn't expect - I expected a pop-up message similar to the Bounty Hunter's Momon as follows stating that I cannot use this in Challenger's World.

Instead, this appeared and I was completely shocked. Never would I expected that I would become the Number One ranked player in Monster Collection for a world (among documented cases), with a total collection of 1/1343. My original intention was to test to prove that the Momon can be obtained using my Len that I intend to leap to Aquila, before creating another character in CW to farm these Momons to be leapt opened in a fresh new world. It is noted that you cannot open the Monster Collection UI in CW and Moncol is explicitly disabled there, with the sole exception of a possible oversight that monsters can be added from a Momon in CW.

Subsequently, I spend hours to try and get the other two monsters, and after four more duplicates, the second monster was added on the sixth Momon.

Two more Momons later, I've added Sr. Bellflower Root, concluding that all three Bellflower Monsters can be added from the Bellflower Momon, finally solving the mystery of the Bellflower Root Momon, several years after it made its Monster Collection debut.

For MSEA users, you can notice that the text that appears when you add a monster from a Momon is different from adding a monster by killing them, for a comparison, this is the text that I get from adding a new monster by killing them:

In addition, when you add a monster from a Bellflower Root Momon, a smaller text is displayed additionally to the popup that states A New Monster has been added to your Monster Collection.

I've did a detailed documentation this specific Momon under Section 5 of the Assumptions and Basis Used Tab of my Monster Collection Guide, the link to the guide is as follows (or alternatively, you can find it under Useful Guides List 3 at this subreddit's sidebar)

MSEA Moncol Guide V1.1

It was noted that 6 years ago, a user documented the Bellflower Momon here on Reddit, however, the findings made by the user back then suggested that there are only two possible monsters that can be added (Bellflower Root and Sr. Bellflower Root).
