What should I do?
So, I will try to be brief. I am a player who have been playing a campaign for around 5-6 months. I know the DM, and he is great, I overall enjoy the sessions. We, players and DM, have a discord group and in general we are friendly with each other.
The problem is there is a player that dislikes me a lot. I don't want to say hate, but I am pretty sure he does. The reason being that I can't support the thinking of some people believing they must be anything else but themselves to be happy. (Like a woman wanting to be a man, a person asking to be referred as "insert pronoun here". Non binary people...) I still accept the people, but in my opinion, that thoughts do more harm than good. Summarizing, that player can't stand me, and he wants me out, so he poke the DM to achieve it. I can barely chat in the discord because he will start a conflict and play victim to frame me as the problematic player. Last time I wrote "Spain is going downhill this last years" and he answered a list of approved laws in reference to gay marriage and rights to which I replied it didn't matter, the people is still the same. Well, at that point I already bit the bait. I am thinking on leaving the campaign. The group likely would work the same without me, if not better, and I would get more time to do other things.
