"Date, you said?" ... Idk why things end up like that lol

Someone mooted me online before and we chatted a lot, a few weeks ago (before I got a job), he asked me if I would like to go for a scroll with him to see it... This was our first time meeting in person and I was sooo nervous and awkward.

"Okay... If you wouldn't mind me cannot wear makeup... Considering we're just going for a scroll, dressing up too much might actually be stressful... And my skin immunity problem is still recovering...(awkwardly)"

"Just a scroll, no pressure... I'm driving to pick you up and going get some takeout coffee on the way for us... almost there. "

Because I hadn't met anyone new, I became more and more nervous as the meeting approached... I checked myself again and again before approaching hesitantly to the car , then I opened the door and said "hi" with a awkward smile. “Ray... right?”

"Hi Rosa... you look even better in person! And here's your coffee... "

Fortunately, he was good at finding topics to talk about, and I'm quite responsive, so my nervousness eased quickly... Although mostly he talked and I listened and responded with positive words and smiles. He took me to a restaurant he thought was nice and we ate something. I poured some tea for him first while he was ordering, which led him to say, "Haven't been there anyone tell you that you're so sweet and polite...?" I almost spilled my tea in panic. But still it was a happy lunch time.

After lunch, we browsed a toy store in the shopping mall (he wanted to pick out a birthday present for a friend). We saw some interesting blind boxes, I joked, "Shall we play a game? You pick one from the left for me, and I pick one from the right for you, deal?"

We exchanged our boxes after purchasing and getting on the car, I said nervously, "Hey... Let me know what‘s in it when it gets opened by your friend, please?" He agreed. I opened my box and showed him in surprise, "A Stitch doll ! I love it! " It made him laughed.

I shared my playlist on our way sanding me back. After saying goodbye, I texted, "That was a happy meeting... thank you."

"And It was a happy date, too... May I ask you out again after coming back my business trip?"
