Is it just me, or is going to the dentist in Florida is cheap without insurance?!

AskFlorida

I was watching a Canadian streamer; he was in Florida for a subathon (live twitch) and then he had a minor problem. He went to the dentist (he lives in Canada). The bill came to $89 USD, including an X-ray, and everything else was WITHOUT INSURANCE. Obviously, it was a small thing—a popcorn stuck deep inside—but in Canada, no joke, it would have cost $250 CAD. Here, it's $100 for the consultation + $120 for the X-ray + it depends on how long it takes to remove the popcorn.
