Is On Cloud Trail Surfer viable for snow or cold weather?

I'm going to Korea soon and was wondering if trail surfer (not waterproof) is not going to be slippery on Korean roads at December? Is it practical and should it being not waterproof be a big problem?

Temperature is around 0 Celsius to -5. With some Siberian winds. Sorry if I'm in the wrong subreddit
