How would gossip girl characters be viewed by the upper class?

Chuck and Bart bass knew Money but so powerful they become upper class chuck used to be the classic embodiment of new money but chilled out over time. The Van der woodsens old money and the picture of New York royalty, the upper class may hate her scandals but the Rhodes are royalty going back decades. The Humphrey’s even tho Rufus is rich and famous to us nor miss, to the upper class he’s a clown they hate money from performance or arts. And lastly Nate Archibald pure New York old money even though they become broke in the show, you can’t buy that last name and it’s connections and his status can never be removed still lives in that house and goes to Constance. However if Chuck became broke he would certainly not be part of the upper class anymore. Feel free to add any big ones I missed
