For the people who aren't satisfied, and the people who are
You both have a right to be.
I haven't posted in a while, but decided to come back because I feel like some people aren't in the right mindset around here. I wanna try and set things straight.
To the people who ARE satisfied, I'm with you. I personally think 1.1 is an amazing step in the right direction, and Im hoping 1.1.5 and 1.2 onwards will fix more glaring issues with the game. I've personally chosen to trust the developers of this game. Maybe that makes me easy and maybe I'll be disappointed later, but I'm happy with how the game is now and the direction it's going in, and that's that.
To the people who AREN'T satisfied, I'm not on your side of this. That being said, I can see where you're coming from. They haven't announced the fixes for other important things you care about, like weapon and character balance. They haven't given us any hint at what future patches will entail, and if those things will ever even be fixed in the first place. You have a right to complain and criticize, because otherwise this game will be a failure. Especially with gacha developers tending to not care about what western audiences think. We have to be loud.
The point I'm trying to make here is that you both have a right to have your mindsets, and a valid reason to have them. So why are some of you arguing over it, in attempts to change other people's minds?
Don't get me wrong, I get the appeal of changing other people's views to reflect your own. I tried it a lot myself in the past in the community, actually! But at a point I sort of realized there's no point to doing that.
Think about it this way. If we were to get rid of the people who criticize constantly and loudly, the game would never change and would eventually die with the same issues it had on launch.
On the other hand, if we get rid of all the people who don't want to criticize constantly, this community will become an unbearable hellhole that nobody in their right minds would want to interact with.
For a healthy game with healthy growth, we need both crowds, right?
Exactly. So we shouldn't all be fighting over this when our energy could be directed into being a respectable, productive community instead.
---------------------------‐-----------------------------------------------
Basically, to those who are satisfied, try and see the criticism. Understand it, and don't try to push it away. Understand that, as long as it is valid, it is a real issue that needs to be fixed. Don't fault people for being unsatisfied.
And for the people who aren't, don't try and change the minds of the people who are. If all goes well, they'll understand you and your issues with the game. They ideally won't fault you for being unsatisfied, even if they are. So that being said, don't fault people for being satisfied.
Our energy should be directed at the devs, not at each other.
Tldr: pls stop fighting :(
