England - Work and resignation problems...
Long story short....
I got a new job around 2 months ago, it was a change of career due to health. Good pay, good hours, decent job....
Or so I thought.
After some personal issues, I checked my bank and had not been paid. Contacted management, etc.
This is where is goes downhill. It became quite heated and I had to bring in a union rep to get anywhere. As my "line manager" completely shut down and now doesn't talk to me.
It took over 2 weeks to be paid....
After this, brings us to now... When I returned to work, I was delegated new jobs by his lackies... My hours have changed drastically, basically not workable hours due to travel, etc. My role has suddenly changed and I've been put in the background completely. My "line manager" won't even look at me. I have so much work I cannot cope.
So I handed my notice and guess what. For the next month he made my hours even worse and my workload. On top of the worst atmosphere going. Also threatened with the "its still probation for you"
This is all despite knowing my health issues.
Obviously the union situation with pay hasn't helped. But where do I stand? Its literally making me anxious to even go back, but I need to be paid this month.....
What can I do?
