Username needs to be fully typed out in search, otherwise account won't appear at all

My instagram account doesn't show up in search until the full username is typed, even with mutuals. For example, if my username is "account123_" it won't be found even if you typed in "account123" and scrolled all the way to the bottom. Anyone else experiencing this?
