Time to get a car from dealership

Bought a 25-plate used car with deposit (03/12).

Rejected dealer PCP (high APR) and secured an HP with my bank (half the APR). I also asked them to remove all added insurance products (tyres, scratches, etc.) which were included in the original quote only kept gap insurance.

They first wanted payment via a platform ("Cocoon") which my bank couldn't process. I used their direct bank details instead on Thursday afternoon.

Dealer now says it takes them "a few days" to reconcile the direct bank transfer, delaying collection.

Is this push for a third-party platform and the multi-day reconciliation delay standard practice for dealerships? Almost feels zero care factor for customer service! South East London dealership!
