Best cab for a Fender Bassman 100

What are peoples thoughts on the best cabinet to pair with a Fender Bassman 100? I’ve been looking into it and it seems everyone hates the Fender 4x12s, and don’t love the Fender 2x15s for guitar. I intend to use it for both guitar and bass so ideally I’d want one thats good for both.

I like a vintage sound and I’m not into metal or anything so don’t need ridiculously defined high end. I currently have a pair of ashdown bass cabs which I’ve used for years until I can now afford to upgrade and tbh I think both guitar and bass sound great through them.

Any recommendations? My current best bet seems to be an early 80s 2x15.
