First fanfic: early chapters feel weak, later ones are much better—advice?

It feels like my first chapters turned out much weaker than the later ones. This is my first fanfic, and by around chapter 6 I really found my rhythm — chapters up to 10 are written much better. Now I’m worried that readers might drop the story early because the beginning doesn’t seem interesting enough. What would you recommend in this situation?
