I want to paint a hive fleet behemoth army but do they still exist?

I want to paint a hive fleet behemoth army because I really like their colour scheme but I feel like they are gone and not relevant, i dont see them in any warhammer games or trailers, and apparently they were retconned to still exist when did that happen?, I know splinter fleets of behemoth still exist but it just seems small for tyranids,I just feel like I'm putting alot of money and time into an army that seems forgotten by Games Workshop,

so do they still exist and is it worth painting an army of them?
