HSBC TravelOne card welcome gift

One of the requirements to qualify for the welcome gift is to pay an annual fee if SGD196.20. I signed up for this card in Oct 2025 and had not been charged annual fee.

Should I expect to be charged annual fee only in Oct 2026? Just want to be sure that I have done all things correctly to qualify myself for the welcome gift.
