iphone 16 base or 15 pro max?

baka po may maka help sa akin regarding this, gusto ko po kasi mag upgrade from my iphone 11 kasi andami na niyang sira and i can't pick between the two. i personally want the 15 pm bc of the camera po but based on my research (wow research), 16 has a newer chip which is a18 compared to 15 na a17. does the chip really matter po? what are the pros and cons of the two, and which one is better? for context, i'm a student po if that helps :))
