Useful player skills for left stick dribbling?
Let's say you hypothetically don't trust yourself (and your connection) enough to do the skill moves with the right stick.
You can dribble, protect the ball with your player's body, do Super Cancels, do fitness dribbling to slow down the pace, but you can't get a Double Touch, Marseille Turn or any other right stick skill move to work.
What skills help you the most when dribbling? We are basically looking for "passive dribbling skills".
Here is my experience.
Useful "passive" skills:
Sole Control - this helps you dribble no matter what. It allows your player to do receive ground passes better (and do quicker sharp moves right after?).
Heel Trick - this helps with stopping the ball, when it's falling next to your player (the foot next to the belt area animation). It also helps with quick, short passes behind your player. I'm not sure if it affects finishing from strange angles (like Acrobatic and Phenomenal Finishing do), but the in-game description states it does.
Cut Behind and Turn - this is useful after cancelling a shot, pass or even in some other situations. I feel my players with this skill can turn back (180 degrees) much faster than the ones who are lacking it.
Sombrero - useful for the Bergkamp flip, when receiving the ball. It's hard to time, but a bit easier than the rest.
Skills I'm uncertain about:
Rabona, Flip Flap, Chop Turn. I know these are all triggered abilities, but I think there's also a passive effect to them. Any opinions will be appreciated.
Skills I'm fairly certain only work with R-stick:
Scissors Feint (probably the only one I can execute properly); Double Touch; Marseille Turn; Scotch Move.
