Incredibly stupid map designs (michi)

Just wrapped up the day, I work alot so I really only get the time to play one AOE4 game a day, if that. I'm also a new player (level 40) so I havent experienced every map or even matchup yet. Yes I know map downvotes are a thing. Yes I am still mad about the absolute idiotic gutter trash tier design of some aspects of this game.

Tell me why I just wasted 40 minutes of my life chopping wood on Michi only to lose from a wonder. How am I supposed to know it would take 50 villagers with full wood gathering upgrades like 20 minutes to get through the woodline? I didn't even get halfway through before the wonder timed out?

If I want to play farming simulator or city builder I can just play like Anno 1800. What even is the fucking point of this map? I knew you were supposed to chop your way through to the opponent's half, but I still dont understand why in the everloving fuck it has to take OVER TWENTY MINUTES to get to the other side if you want to build up a good economy and a full army simultaneously?

This has got to be one of the most idiotic experiences of my life. Going 3 TC, spam chopping wood, floating 10k+ resources even with full upgrades and full army only to barely get to the sacred sites when the wonder times out. I was looking forward to actual strategic gameplay and a huge fight on the front line. I understand the concept of this map, but the execution is absolutely fucking braindead. I don't even think the devs played this map before releasing it. Rushing to a wonder victory without even NEEDING to build an army or any form of defense whatsoever is genuinely just garbage trash tier design.

I uninstalled this trash game. I know it has its perks, but getting ambushed with a blue-balling fuck tier experience during the only time of the day I can relax and play a game is just the nail in the coffin for me. I know people complain about the devs alot and that game design is hard. This experience on Michi QM was just genuinely the worst experience I have ever had playing a video game. I'm going to move on to other games and then maybe come back to AoE4 after a break.
