Ex stage Accenture: do "meh" feedbacks block recruiting? Is it possible to bypass it?

Europe

Hey everyone, I'm writing to ask for some input from those who work or have worked in consulting / HR / Accenture.

I worked at Accenture as an intern until May 2025. At the end of the internship, me and some other colleagues weren't hired because of business cuts related to the international economic situation.

In December 2025, a former colleague of mine was called back. Not me.

I asked for an explanation and was told that: the managers had passed on both our names, but mine didn't get to the recruiters because the business side didn't want to proceed, since I had "meh" feedback (neither negative nor particularly positive)

The manager tells me to relax, but honestly, I'm not.

My questions are:

Can "meh" feedback really block a rehire completely? Is there a way to bypass this step (e.g., contact HR directly, other managers, internal referrals)?

I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone, just trying to understand how the process really works and if I can do something concrete instead of just waiting.

Thanks to anyone who answers, especially recruiters or managers who know these mechanisms from the inside.
