First post/ not sure if right place

Warning- vomiting/tmi/etc

Ive questioned if im an alcoholic for about 1 to 1½ years now, just because horrible things happened when intoxicated. But I kept drinking afterwards. (Extremely simplified) but tonight I was out with my friends, felt horrible so I made myself throw up. I already felt the urge to vomit so wasn't hard. BUT I saw, and idk how to best to describe this I should've taken a Pic, a red blob? This was a significant blood red blob? I cant explain it better. Didnt taste like blood when vomiting. I haven't eaten all day besides a breakfast bagel with tapatio at 2pm? I threw up at 1am for reference and saw the sandwhich ingredients.. i know tmi, im so srry yuck... but maybe it was just the tapatio??.. also how do I know if im an alcoholic? Cuz i CAN cut myself off, I can go a long time without drinking, but this runs in my family so im concerned..
