G29 force feedback works when it wants to

I never use this site, but i just HAD to vent my frustration with the G29's FFB. I've had on and off issues with it since purchasing, sometimes it'll just go limp when tabbing out, forcing a game restart, or just straight up won't work regardless of what I do. I tried everything on these posts/videos.

BUT literally NOTHING has worked; I've been trying to get it to work for the last 3 hours, but I'm DONE trying to get it to work rn. I don't get why it just decides to stop working, but for an almost $300 wheel this is completley unacceptable, and just makes me wish I got the Moza R3 instead for a similar price point.
