I feel weird after watching Pop Star Academy (Netflix)

Discussion

I'll keep it short. Here are the reasons why I feel the way I do

*Their age, I'm (24), they're young and to see them on that show far away from family in a new place alone with mean adults judging them is weird.

*Almost every candidate who participated and got the initial call to California were talented in different aspect and it felt tough (personally) to judge them

*The sexualization of the girls online and possibly offline

*Lastly, I know I'm not the only one who could see through the bullcrap of "we want them to fly free like butterflies", you sure?, they want assets to make money. That's always been the industry motto, make money. We know how restrictive and slave-like some artist contracts are.

Context: I came across the group on social media first and then watched the Netflix show. Currently feel weird watching them cus their still young and I know and everyone knows Hollywood is dangerous and corrosive. I only wish them the best.

P.s. I'm open to any information which will change or add to my current opinion
