Self-improvement advice

One thing that actually changed stuff for me as a teenager wasn’t motivation or “grind” quotes — it was reducing friction.

Most of us don’t fail because we’re lazy. We fail because everything good is harder to start than everything bad.

So I did this:

Phone charger outside my room → I stopped doomscrolling at night

Workout clothes laid out before bed → I worked out more

Notes app open with 1 task only → I stopped procrastinating

Stop relying on willpower. Design your environment so the right thing is the easiest thing.

You don’t need a perfect routine. You need a setup that works on your worst days.

If you’re a teen reading this: don’t try to “be disciplined forever.” Just make tomorrow slightly harder to mess up than today.
