English tips

Hey guys sorry for the rant and if my english is bad but i need tips for my english, i am coming into year 11 next year being very poor in english i got around 23 on my english gat (i know unreliable) and i got around 60% on my school english exams off no study (they grade pretty generously) my vocabulary is absolutely horrible since i only watch tiktok and instagram reels and haven't read a book since primary school, i recently tried ready the crucible for our school and couldn't read over 5 pages with 50 words i didn't know the definition to (keep in mind semi old language) and i know i wont be able to use fancy words for year 12 to blow english teachers away and i just want an easy structure to study for over the holidays so i can come into year 11 with a good vocabulary, can actually read books comfortably and use good words in my exams
