The only one left - Riley Sager Confusion about the eyes?? SPOILERS

I just finished the only one left and I am a little confused.

Miss Baker = REAL Lenora Lenora = REAL Virginia

In page 289, Kit visits Bernice who still believed at the time that Lenora was the one sleeping with her husband. She even confronts her and they talk in name basis and addresses Lenora and claims she “bats her big blue eyes” at her husband.

Kit then goes home and states at the paintings - Lenora has GREEN eyes and Virginia has BLUE

In page 311, Kit confronts Miss Baker, she says she IS the real Lenora. And when she is telling the story, she begins to cry. It says “When Lenora shakes her head, I spot a glint of moisture in her telltale BLUE EYES” !!!!!!!

In page 338, after Kit learns the truth, she goes to say goodbye to Virginia. In the book it says “I feel her stare anyway, the hint of her GREEN EYES following me as I go”

So is this an error??? It can’t be because the whole revelation is supposed to be about the eyes!!! I’m so stressed reading this and confused
