Sticky eyes in New Born

Anyone faced sticky eyes in new born? How did you treat it? My LO developed sticky eye and is only 12 days old, doctor prescribed moxicip eye drop but its a challenge to get the eyedrop in to the eye.

Any help would be appreciated. Im worried 🥹
