Some random questions about starting metal clay jewellery making

I’m looking to get some silver art clay for my mum for her birthday but I had a couple of questions first. what equipment should I get for her to be able to give it a try? What do you use to torch it on? As we don’t own a kiln we’ll be using a torch so I wasn’t sure if there’s something specific to place under the piece. Where’s the best place to buy the clay (relatively cheap) I found some on Amazon called Viva decor pardo jewellery clay but not sure if this is the right stuff as I couldn’t find any videos of anyone using it?
