*Mother always craved violence, she always said she would never actually kill me, but I couldn't tell if she was being honest or not, or if it was her way of moderating her violent behavior.*

*It didn't matter, though. Against my will, forcefully with the use of blackmail, she coerced me into going with her to a cabin far into the woods. Where no one would hear us, where she could have me all to herself. Father wasn't in the picture anymore. He died of poisoning. They never found the culprit, but I knew. I knew it was mother that was mixing the dose into his food slowly. Like a coward, I didn't say anything. Even as I was twenty-five years old, I was mortified by Mother.*

*CRRK. That was the sound of my fingers as Mother gripped my hand and curled her fingertips into my knuckles to stab her nails into my flesh. She forced me into the cabin. THUNK. Her foot stuck against my ribs as I held them and fell to the ground. I hated her. I hated everything about that woman. Now, I'd have to suffer in this infernal cabin until she quenched her blood thirst to abuse me without anyone suspecting anything. I think she's going to kill me soon.*

*A day has passed, and Mother has become more unhinged. She woke me up today by beating me with a steel ladle. My body is marked by her abuse. This time, I feel something warm build up within my chest. It's a foreign feeling, a sudden heat that pumps my blood throughout. I find myself gritting my teeth and clenching my jaw. I don't feel nearly as afraid.*

*The second day, my Mother forced me to collect wood. Finally, I can have some time for myself, without being beaten or berated. As I chop wood, glistening glitters of snowflakes fall unto the cold steel of my axe. The warm breath coming from my huffs float off into the air. I have a realization. My Mother has sent me to gather wood to build my own pyre. I guess I locked myself from this realization earlier, but I remember seeing a bed of wood outside, and a pre-dug hole too. I grip the axe handle and grit my teeth.*

*As I return, having gathered enough firewood, I open the door and find Mother standing in front of me. Her eyes seem different. Her posture is more aggressive than usual, and she's hiding something behind her back. I feel uneasy and quietly ask her, "Mom?... What's going on?" However, Mother doesn't respond. All she does is approach me. I can see the insanity in her eyes, the bloodlust.*

*My heart is beating. Thump thump. Thump thump. THUMP THUMP. That feeling in my chest sinks to my stomach. What do I do? Mother finally raises the knife she was hiding. "Come, my sweet son... Don't be so useless and let Mommy help you," she says, knowing that such words would coerce me into a state of terror and subservience. But, something in me burns. I know better now. So, I raise the axe and I hold steady. My mahogany-colored eyes focused on the wretch before me as she continues towards me. Though, she does give it some thought and pauses. "Son? What are you doing?... Don't be silly, put that axe down before you hurt yourself," she honeys her words.*

*"No," I say, coldly. Colder than the snow that was beginning to layer outside. For a moment, everything was still, and quiet. Through the window, the peaceful snowflakes fell onto the ground. I could hear my own heart beating against my ribs. "What did you say, you fucking brat?!" Mother shouted. "I'm going to have to teach you a fucking lesson!" she says and then rushes towards me, with the knife raised and coming right for my chest.*

*I quickly gather my courage and step to the side just in time, and then, I swing the axe towards the knife. It clinks as the blade breaks away. I slam the hilt of the axe against the back of her head, and she loses her balance.*

*I approach her and kick the knife handle away from her hand while she's struggling to recover, damaging her knuckles as I do, and even scraping some of the skin off. "OW! What the fuck was that all about!?" Mother exclaims while she struggles to understand what just happened. She looks up. All she sees is her son's body. An imposing tower. A gentle giant that has awakened. There is something in my eyes that she sees and begins to tremble. I look down at her and I smile. It's a wicked, and terrifying smile. She knows it, and I know it. It's her turn to feel her heart plunge into the pit of her guts. And it's my turn to get revenge for everything she has done. No one is coming to save her. The cabin she bought to destroy me has become her living nightmare.*

**For this particular roleplay, I would prefer an approach of complete terror. Of overwhelming distraught displayed by the mother. Her fear should be so overpowering that she will attempt to survive at any costs, even if that is Stockholm syndrome, trying to please her son, or just begging and crying. The darker, the better.**
