So how's everyone's BMAT preparation going?

Well that went terribly.
It was 100x more difficult than any of the mocks ... I guessed 20 questions or so in total :/
I spent so much time on the stupid clock with the square numbers... by some miracle I finished section 1. Didn't even finish section 2, had to guess the last 5 questions without even looking at them. I was really annoyed by the half life question which I understood but the answer I got wasn't an option :/ What essay did you do?
I did the way on how having pets is unjustifiable. I was demoralised after sections 1 and 2 so I don't think I did as well in section 3 as I could have. All 4 essay questions were pretty bad this year - especially number 3.
I think every year thinks their papers was something extraordinary. I personally also found it quite hard and unnerving but I put this down to the fact that this is the only test I did that actually mattered and was under real test conditions and therefore is bound to feel harder. Rest assured, even if this year was much harder, than the point system will adjust accordingly. Don't worry too much!
Not sitting it but thought I would wish you luck. Good luck with your A Levels too.
Thanks, what's your current situation? e.g gap year, medical student etc
Finishing up a degree in medical imaging, my specialism is clinical photography, waiting on answers from Warwick, SGUL, Kings and Swansea for next year. Fingers crossed for Warwick :-)
Good luck with that :)
Thanks, where are you hoping to go?
Workin' on it.
I did myself a disservice by not preparing for it earlier, but I'm catching up fast.
How many BMAT universities did you apply to?
2
I left it late as well but only applied to one thankfully. Best of luck with your application.
