Klipper on Ender 3 Pro with new 4.2.7 board
Hey everyone, I just upgraded my Ender 3 Pro with a Creatily 4.2.7 board and trying to setup klipper on it. I had klipper setup previously on a Pi Zero 2 but decided to switch to a Pi4 I had sitting around so this is basically a fresh install.
What I have done so far...
Installed the 4.2.7 board
Used Pi Imager to install mainsail.
Connected to the Pi via putty and ran the menuconfig selecting STM32F103 with
28KiB bootloader and serial communication on USART1 PA10/PA9 as the config files says.
Make the .bin file and copy to a sd card.
Put the SD card into the printer and turned it on to flash the firmware and waited about 5 minutes. shutdown and removed the sd card, turned the printer back on and try running ls /dev/serial/by-id/* but I keep getting back
ls: cannot access '/dev/serial/by-id/*' : No such file or directory
I have tried flashing multiple times, using multiple usb cables including purchasing a new usb cable that says it is for data transfer, and putting a piece of tape over pin 1 of the usb cable because the screen would flicker when plugged in with the printer off.
Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?
