Help setting up Huion Kamvas 13 (gen 3) tablet. Libinput incorrectly reading the tablet pad buttons? (Fedora 43 KDE)
I have a Huion Kamvas 13 (gen 3) tablet and I have been running into a couple of issues setting it up through the system settings on Fedora 43 KDE
The first issue was that the tablet was not even being recognized by the libwacom library, despite the fact the tablet exists under "huion-kamvas-13-gs1333.tablet". it turns out that the "DeviceMatch" was incorrect in the .tablet folder.
The original as it is in my installation of Fedora 43, found in /usr/share/libwacom
DeviceMatch=usb|256c|2008||HUION_M22c;
and the fixed version placed inside /etc/libwacom (fix is based on what the current .tablet file is on the github page for libwacom)
DeviceMatch=usb|256c|2008;
and that fixed the issue of libwacom not recognizing the tablet, so now I get
ben@fedora:~$ libwacom-list-local-devices
devices:
- name: 'Huion Kamvas 13 (Gen 3)'
bus: 'usb'
vid: 0x256c

type: 'general'

but when I run libinput list-devices, it appears that there are 3 events associated with the tablet.

and the issue lies with the device "HUION Huion Tablet_GS1333 Keyboard". I believe this is the input from the tablet pad buttons and the dials. But these inputs are not being carried through libwacom as a "tablet-pad" device. This is resulting in the dials not working and the buttons not being able to be reprogrammed inside the "Pad" submenu inside of the Drawing Tablet settings. (The Pad Submenu where you would be able to reprogram these is just not appearing at all)
I am not sure what to do from this point. This tablet does have official Linux Drivers, but they are only for Ubuntu and X11 ( at least thats what it looks like is the issue).
