The Opener

Careless cautiousness -

I let it all bleed.

Type O negative,

no recipients needed.

Achoo!

Get your

filthy fucking

sneezy slime off of me.

Cross contaminated,

osmosis jonesing,

I keep sponging up spillage.

Bless you.

It’s okay,

I know I’m just the opener.

And I’m still riding

these bloody pages,

dripping down my sleeve,

into the sun

painting with pathos.
