3 months after a chemical pregnancy and still no ovulation

question/need help

I had a chemical pregnancy at the end of September and since then I haven’t ovulated at all. My cycles were regular before, but after the loss, I have not ovulated. My LH just bounced around for weeks without ever going positive (highest was 0.4) and I eventually had to take Provera, which led to a medicated cycle on CD 65 but still no ovulation. I’m now on CD 24 following that medicated cycle.

This week my LH finally rose higher than it has in months (~0.48), but it never went fully positive and now it seems to be bouncing around again like before. I am feeling so discouraged and stressed out because it’s been months without even being able to try again.

My doctor said if I don’t ovulate by around day 35 they may want to evaluate me for PCOS and possibly start letrozole. I’m just struggling because my cycles were regular before all of this, though I did always ovulate a little later around CD18–23. But it feels like such a long time to be stuck in limbo after a very early loss. Everything I read is people maybe ovulating maybe 2–4 weeks late max, but it’s been 12+ weeks for me.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I would love any kind of insight.
