Why TikTok keeps making my videos blurry (after weeks of testing)

I kept exporting high-quality videos and TikTok still turned them into mush.

After a lot of testing, I realized:

• File size matters more than resolution
• TikTok re-compresses everything
• Over-compressed uploads get destroyed again

What finally worked:

• MP4 (H.264)
• Quality-based compression (not hard bitrate)
• Keeping files under ~100MB when possible
