Any free alternatives to the chess.com game analysis where it actually explains why a move was good/bad?

I know it costs nothing to just hit the little magnifying glass icon and go through move by move and see how the moves compare with the "best move" arrows, as well as seeing how each move affects the evaluation bar.

The problem is sometimes because I'm a noob I can't ascertain why the recommended best move is best. It's cool how the chess.com game analysis offers explanations in a conversational way as well as showing alternative courses of action where you can go through the alternative sequence move by move.

I'm wondering is there anything else out there perhaps community-made that's free, or a one-off payment? I try to avoid subscriptions as much as possible.
