Do you put up with poor behavior from a sibling even if it’s not “that bad”?
Curious where you draw the line at being treated poorly by an adult sibling. My sister doesn’t have the sort of issues that might make someone cut them off but she takes a lot out of me emotionally. It’s nothing horrendous but she says rude things to me, is controlling and honestly it’s been years of this. I’ve been putting up my boundaries but my family thinks I’m in the wrong bc in their eyes she’s perfectly pleasant. It feels like gaslighting where I need to sacrifice my own comfort for others and I’m tired of it. She was rude to me so I didn’t attend a family lunch she hosted and now I’m being told I was wrong. How much do you put up with even if it doesn’t seem like a lot?
