Aimpoint or EOtech?

For my fellows who deployed, anyone have a preference when using an EOtech vs the Comp M4? I bought my Comp M4 for my first tour because supply had ran out and I didnt like using those shitty iron sights. CO signed off because well back then there was more flexibility. I was later given an EOtech, but I just preferred my Comp M4 so I swapped it out. Was curious if anyone else has/had preferences during service?
