Is overfeeding a thing? I saw this discouraged while looking up reflux

Lately my 3 month old has sleep disrupted by what seems to be reflux, and one of the tips online is avoid overfeeding. Being 17lb, she’s definitely been well-fed. Does anyone have an experience with overfeeding? We’re trying to do shorter feeds and hold her upright, but she only sleeps 10 hours a day, so I’m pretty concerned that she’s not sleeping enough.
