P225/60R17 tire max pressure at 44 psi, is that prone to blowup in summer?
Most tires have max pressure at 51 psi, my Subaru has recommended pressure at 32psi (rear) and 33psi (front), I know these are cold pressure. But some tires have max tire pressure at 44 psi (cold pressure, the tire likely can tolerate maybe 48psi). I understand in summer if I have 32/33psi cold pressure, driving under hot sun the pressure might rise to 37-39 psi, in theory it is still well within safe range, but I can't help wondering if these lower pressure tires more prone to blowup/failure? In my case I have real-time reading of pressure at all time, any abnormal ( < 27psi >39psi) I would take immediate action ( I have pump in my vehicle).
