Anyone else confused about what digital marketing skills companies really expect?

Findapath-Career Change

A lot of people talk about learning digital marketing online, but honestly, most beginners don’t even know what skills companies actually expect.

I was confused for a long time because YouTube teaches random topics, and many institutes focus only on theory. When you look at local agencies, they usually expect practical things like SEO audits, basic local business optimization, understanding ads, and reporting.

While researching different learning paths, I came across a course structure page (https://futuremultimedia.org/digital-marketing-training-course-institute-indore.html) that clearly listed modules and practical areas. I’m not promoting it or saying it’s perfect, but it helped me understand what a job-oriented roadmap should look like and where my learning gaps were.

I think self-learning works only when you have clarity. Otherwise, you keep jumping topics without direction. For beginners, first understanding what to learn feels more important than where to learn from.
