AI Attack drones?
I'm watching the news about all the shenanigans the Ukrainian fighters use to bypass jamming. Why are they using miles of fiber optic line to defeat Russian jamming when they could just use a simple AI? For military antiaircraft they could just teach a simple AI what logos to expect on Russian aircraft, program it with the GPS coordinates of the Russian airbase, and launch a buch of very cheap drones for some very effective asymmetric warfare. They could wipe out an entire airbase for less than they spend for one days worth of toilet paper for the troops. Even if they can't rely on GPS then image processing, barometric pressure sensors, magnetic compass, using surrounding radio towers as beacons, and some simple dead reckoning would do the trick. Seriously, why do these drones still have operators instead of programmers?
