Cabo with a teen (January)
I'm looking for resort feedback for a week in Cabo at the end of January.
We
- are one adult and one 15-year-old
- want good, fresh food (including for one person doesn't eat meat/poultry/shellfish but does eat fish)
- won't be drinking alcohol
- are fine with being at a resort without a swimmable beach
- prefer a more quiet environment - we don't need (or even want) poolside entertainment or evening activities... or sales pitches
- would like some activities on site along the lines of tennis/basketball/volleyball, a fitness room that 15-year-olds are allowed in, or games that resorts often have in teen clubs like table tennis or a pool table
We're planning to go off-resort roughly every second day for different tours (on the water, food, etc).
Based on the vacation packages available during our travel dates, the spreadsheet here and other posts, I'm considering
- Hyatt Ziva
- Sandos Finisterra
- Grand Fiesta Americana
- Zoetry
- Pueblo Bonito Sunset
I'm also considering the Hilton but would like to see pricing on the restaurant menus to know what to expect.
I'd love to hear personal feedback about those resorts from anyone who's been.
