I made a small app to auto-upload Wahoo and MyWhoosh rides to Garmin Connect (Windows )

Connect / Connect IQ / 1st Party Apps

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using a Python script for a while now to automatically push my Wahoo and MyWhoosh activities over to Garmin Connect. It worked well for my own training, but I saw a few people online looking for a simpler way to do this without manual file uploads or messing with code.

I’ve put together a basic Windows app with a GUI for it, and I’m looking for some people to test it out.

How it works:

  • Background Sync: It sits in the system tray and checks for new activities automatically.
  • Wahoo: It watches the local Dropbox folder your ELEMNT syncs to.
  • MyWhoosh: It monitors the local game cache folder for new .FIT files.
  • Secure: Your login stays on your machine and is encrypted.

How to get it: I can’t upload the .exe file directly here, so I’ve put it on GitHub.

  1. Go to theGitHub Releases page.
  2. At the bottom of that page, click on GarminUploader-v1.0.0.exe to download it.
  3. Just run the file—there is no installation required.

Note: Since the app isn't signed, Windows will likely show a "Windows protected your PC" warning. You'll just need to click "More info" and then "Run anyway."

Give it a go and let me know if it works for you or if you run into any issues. Cheers!
