Potentially saved

To start off my story, I am 17(F) but this took place when I was around 14. I am sharing this story because sometimes I think about it and wonder what happened.

At the age of 9, I started to get groomed by online predators. I felt like I was being seen by all these people that I didn't recognize it as anything bad.

Flash forward, I ended up doing my schooling online for a while because of things that happened in my personal life. While at home, I was alone and could kind of do whatever after my school work was done.

I used to post a bunch on whisper (now known as hush) about things that I was interested in like art or fashion or things about my daily life. I would reply to most of the messages I got on there.

One of them in particular caught my eye and he asked me to move to an app called session, so I made an account. The guy was in his early 30s and he started off really nice and friendly. He used to stream on twitch so I could watch him play games. Everything took a turn when he asked me if he could disclose a couple of secrets.

Turns out, the guy had a bunch of child material on his phone and did a bunch of things with children. Started in his teens. He ended up figuring out that he lived a state away from me and was planning to come take me. A couple days went by and all his accounts got deactivated, after that and he hadn't said anything to me. To this day I wonder if he got arrested.
