My bf [23M] broke up with me [24F] day after Christmas!

My boyfriend of 2 years broke it off with me day after Xmas. There were a lot of ups and downs like normal testing our relationship after time of no communication and not seeing each other back to back due to me working a lot for the holidays, we spent alone time on Christmas and had plans of getting engaged. (We had planned since last December to get married) We talked about rings on Christmas Day at dinner, we later had an argument of how I was too dominant. Next day he decides to break up with me! He told me he loved me and wanted to stay with me but couldn’t. He gave me the reasons were which I understood half of them as I was dominant, being afraid of my safety and his families due to previous ex who now has a baby. He choose his family which I understand but why semi propose and then end it and block me off everything. I have a feeling there’s people making him make these decisions, and now I’m stuck in bed bawling my eyes out with no appetite or desire to go anywhere but my bed! Idk what to do as I don’t want to let him go anytime soon as I’m still in love with him!
