Game channel no Fortnite audio 2.0.6 (3780), Windows 11

Reinstalled Wave Link and restarted. Issue remains.

I add Fortnite to Game channel using Wave Link. I can see this change is also reflected inside Fortnite audio settings. Fortnite shows Default (Wave Link Game).

I click buttons in game and hover over menu items.

No sound. No meters moving in Wave Link.

I switch Fortnite to Browser channel and the sound from the last button I clicked or menu item I hovered over plays through Browser channel. I can even wait 10 seconds and switch to Browser channel and then it plays the sound.

I rapidly hover over menu items, which should create multiple sounds in a short time to test. But there is no sound on Game channel. When switch to Browser channel only the last menu item I hovered over plays. Some buttons are longer sounds and fully play. It is as if there isn't a stream of audio being delayed, but Fortnite is holding back it's last audio effect until I switch it to Browser because it is not playing in Game channel.
