How do you text while meeting someone virtually that gets them excited?
Whenever I match women on dating apps it is like pulling teeth to get them to engage. I don't need them to be writing me paragraphs or jumping through hoops all excited, but holy shit... is a little bit of fun and happy energy too much to ask for?
Here's an exchange today:
Me: "Hey ******, cool we matched. How is your weekend treating you? What are ya up to?"
Her: "Reading and doing laundry."
Me: "I just got off the golf course when you texted me. What a nice day out! Tell me about your book, are you enjoying reading it?"
Her: "It's a romance book."
This happens so, so often in exchanges with women on dating apps. Like what are we supposed to talk about if you're going to give me literally nothing?
Should I tell her a book? Come up with some witty story?
I figure 2x grown adult people could engage in a basic back and forth in a worthy attempt to get to know each other before potentially meeting but I guess the hell not.
